Understanding Clock Types

Observe the following clocks.

Analogue clock, Digital clock

Analog clock has hour hand and minute hand. It shows time by the position of the hands.

Digital clock shows the time numerically.

Express time in two ways

Examples of expressing time from a clock face to digital format, such as 15 minutes past 10 is 10:15.
