(ii) \( 12 - [3 - \{6 - (5 - 1)\}] \)

Solution:

\( 12 - [3 - (6 - 4)] \)

\( 12 - [3 - 2] \)

\( 12 - 1 = 11 \)

\( 12 - [3 - \{6 - (5 - 1)\}] = 11 \)

(iii) \( 100 + 8 \div 2 + \{(3 \times 2) - 6 \div 2\} \)

Solution:

\( = 100 + 8 \div 2 + \{6 - 3\} \)

\( = 100 + 8 \div 2 + 3 \)

\( = 100 + 4 + 3 \)

\( = 107 \)

\( 100 + 8 \div 2 + \{(3 \times 2) - 6 \div 2\} = 107 \)
