Core Concepts

Two angles are complementary to each other if they add upto 90° [See Fig. 4.28(i)] Two angles are supplementary to each other if they add upto 180° [See Fig. 4.28(ii)]

In the above figures, 20° and 70° are complementary angles and 147° and 33° are supplementary angles. But 35° and 75° are neither complementary nor supplementary.

Step-3 Drag the protractor and place it on the angle and measure it. Now Click on the “Answer” Box to check whether your measurement is correct. Click on “Random” button to create new angle and continue till you understand how to measure the angle.
